Rosie Talbot, bestselling author of SIXTEEN SOULS
Hi! It’s great to have you here. I am a fiction editor, bookseller, and published author from the southeast of England. I also freelance for a literary scout writing reader reports, specialising in fantasy and romance for YA, NA, and adult audiences, giving me a detailed understanding of the market. My favourite things to edit are darker stories entwined with romance, but I love anything with magic, twists, and angst!
I am an Entry-Level member to the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading and received a distinction from the College of Media and Publishing for their Editing and Proofreading course.
When I’m not working, I like swimming or sitting down with a cup of tea and a good book, cuddling my cats or reptiles. Some of my favourite novels include THRUM by Meg Smitherman, and FROM BLOOD AND ASH by Jennifer L. Armentrout. You can find me on instagram @spice.and.citrus.

Hello, it’s nice to meet you! I am a fiction editor, bookseller and writer from the Southeast of England. I have a degree in creative writing from the University of Winchester and experience in developmental editing for a best-selling author. My favourite kind of stories are full of complex characters and rich world-building, and I have a particular fondness for historical settings and romances that are full of yearning.
In my free time you can find me on long rambling walks, lifting weights in the gym, or trying to be creative in the kitchen. My favourite book this year has been A LADY’S GUIDE TO FORTUNE-HUNTING by Sophie Irwin.

This is an in-depth, big picture review of your manuscript. It will include examining the structure, tone, character arcs, continuity, and pacing. We will then write a report where we discuss this. It isn’t a replacement for copyediting and will not alter your manuscript.
